Im wondering what the appearance difference between these two? how could you tell one from another? does the two grove lines on top mean anything?

B16B and B18C5 are both Type R manifolds, and are the same as each other no difference. The 2nd gen B16A manifold is designed to give more power at lower rpm in order to make up for the lack of torque. It has longer smaller runners that help build air velocity. The lines on top mean nothing.

The P73 Type R manifolds loose power on stock and mild B16A engines. They are designed to make power at very high rpm. The intake runners are shorter and thicker with a slight bog affect until at least vtec hits. It's a very peaky type of power band.

how could you tell the difference from the type r to lets say the b16a2 without actually measuring the runners by just looking at he two? btw nice em1 build
