Default B16B ECU in a B16A?

Was wondering if the Original B16B ecu would be a direct replacment for a B16A, would it simply raise the rev limit and add extra fuel etc or would the sensors on the B16A default all that and infact the 'B' ecu would simply increase rev limit?

youd would have to get a conversion harness seeing as the ecu is JDM yO. other then that it would work. don't know why you would want to do it though

Well I've got an EK9 header on order and also ITR2001 cam which is virtually identical to the EK9 cam. So surely the EK9 ecu would take advantage of this?

blaaa ek9 header= waste of money get a DC or something 4-1 2.5 collector money well spent right there.

and then get a vafc or even better hondata s100 and get the bitch tuned then you will be taking full advantage of it.

and still it won't be right your CR is low compared to the ITR and CTR so your not going to be running the same setup

I've seen a DC rolling roaded on an Ek9 and it LOST power!... only 1 hp or something like that. The EK9 has a larger bottom collector just like the DC anyway.

Theres another English guy (like me ) with the ITR cam and he made 15hp with cam gears, so for the price, oem quality and direct swap with no other mods needed they seem excellent value.

IMO its better to run on the right ecu with a better program than to run on wrong ecu with a different program

the flow of the header is shitty look at the ulitmate header test, the stock units suck bottom line. DC is a great bang for you buck. i never said you wouldn't make power with the ITR cam. simply said you wont be able to reach its fullest potential without a higher CR
