b16a1 from crx ?
hi, heres my set up :
i have a 92 hatch with a d15b zc 1.5 vtec swap in it, and a 95 si transmission
heres my question :
if i put the b16a1 ( 160 hp, 111 lbs tq) in the car will it 1) bolt right up without motor mounts and 2) can i use my 95 si tranny?
thanks

Re: b16a1 from crx ? (HHB 2185)
No you will need new mounts, either from any year integra from 94-01 or some aftermarket ones like place racing, hasport...etc. You will also need a b series hydro tranny. The d series 95 si tranny wont work.

keep in mind that the b16a1 im speaking of is from the 88-91 crx i believe, and since my zc is listed under the same year , i figured the b16a1 would bolt right in . . . . the bigger question, i suppose, is will my tranny work . . . . thanks

You will need mounts and a b-series tranny. Preferrably b-series hydro tranny, but Hasport makes a hydro to cable conversion kit so you could run the cable tranny in your hatch. Just use the 94+ Integra mounts, b-series shift linkage from a 94+teg or 99-00 si. If you decide to run the cable tranny then you would need to get the place racing tranny mount to fit in your car. Good luck.
