Default b16a swap into eg... clutch doesnt engage at all...

jsut finding out the possibilities.. we just put the motor in but before the motor was in we changed flywheels... now if the clutch wasnt put on right the car wouldnt start.. so the clutch must be on right.. but it doesnt engage at all.. it just slips...

1. the clutch has a goodamount of life left
2. im not dumb and were sure we didnt putit on backwards

butt could it be a way we put the pressure plate on.. like if we didnt put it on right?? i dont know comeon honda-tech gurus... help us out.. we just spent 3 full days 6-3 in the morning and were real tired.. and we need a solution.. please helpus out..

sorry for the bad writing im tired...

thanks guys!

Is th engine mounted correctly. I had a busted mount causing the clutch to slip (and ultimately break that's why I have an Exedy now instead of a Clutchmaster) so maybe improper mounting or a broken mount is causing it to slip.

I'm gonna let you know I'm no expert (I'm FAR from it) but I felt like giving you my 2 cents.

i had similar problem when changed clutch recently....found out when i did my auto to manual swap i forgot the bolt that holds the clutch pedal assembly up..... i called Exedy tech support and they said to adjust pedal travel at the master cylinder......get under dash with a flashlight and you will see a nut on the mc rod.... loosen that then remove the pin holding it to the pedal... turn the rod clockwise/counter clockwise until clutch engages.....youll probably need to do it a few times until you get it right.......hope this helps

nope thats not it.. but it might be a possibility that the axles arent out.

but when i start the car... put it in first and let go of the clutch.... the car moves.. and when i press the gas.. it doesnt gain any speed its kinda like the clutch is slipping all the time..

thanks for all ur guys's help
