Default B16a inquiries

I am coming down to the reality that I will never be able to afford a hydro tranny when I throw a b16 in my cx. However, I was wondering does a cable really make a difference? I mean my current tranny in my stock engine is hydro, and a shop I got a wutoe from said that "honda went from cable to hydro to progress" and that putting a cable tranny in ym car would be a shitty idea. I figure they jstu want to make mroe money. Gime thoughts ideas, and and personal success stories. x x

do NOT go the cheap route with the first gen b16
you WILL pay more
save the money and do it right
2350$ for a second gen full swap.

Get a b16a for 2300-2400 or get a b18b for 1700-2000. dont waste your time and money on a 1st gen. You will regret it. But, if that is what you are determined to do. Place Racing or HASport sells a hydro to cable adapter for you car. But mark my words. . . . You will regret it!
