Whats a second gen b16a cable?
Is there such thing as a b16a second gen w/ a cable tranny? because im argueing with jdmrecycler that a b16a2 only come with hydro...they are like noo 93-94 b16a2 can come with a cable tranny

The 1992-93 JDM Integra XSi had a grey plug OBDI version of the B16A with a cable tranny. That's probably what they are referring to as the second gen cable B16A.

yes, i had a motor in my old civic b16a that came with a 92 JDM B16A that had grey plugs and a cable tranny. I guess this would be the US equivalent of the B17A but the shaft on the transmission was larger than the 88-91 B16 cable shafts. I am assuming this came out of a 92 XSI integra.

ys1 tranny
shaft and **** is like a hydro
but its cable
jdm ys1 tranny has 96-97 ITR gear ratios
hence the high demand for that tranny
