Re: b16a build question
Good luck with the build, what other mods you have? Have you been to the dyno?
I have a B16A2 and I want to see what cams to get before I tune. I have I/H/E and chipped P28.

Re: b16a build question
Cool, The car came with 2 1/4 pipping with a loud muffler. I took the muffler off and put a stock one. In the future I want to get a Vibrant muffler and still waiting to see what cams to get. Maybe CTR's or Skunk2. The car is running good, I'm able to beat stock FG2's and Im neck to neck with my friends FG2, He has I/H/E. So I cant complain. I just love light cars lol

Re: b16a build question
you will see better power gains if you port the head correctly, in my personal opinion, blox type c's are a bit much for a daily driver,, although people do it all the time.

Re: b16a build question
-You can add compression ( pistons ) ( wich you need to rebuild )
-A good header
-Good exhaust setup ( 2.5" )
you dont have to port the head. But its beanificial specially with more aggressive cams. ( it add alots of cost as a good port job is anywhere from $ 500-$1500 , normally in the $ 1000's ).
You might have to get cam gears to set those cams correctly.
