b16a -> 1.8L with adding crank, rods, and pistons?!
i was watching somthing about the jun super lemon EK4 and its a b16a ( ~1.6L ) but with (im guessing GSR or ITR internals b/c they are 1.8's) a 1.8 crank, connecting rods, and pistons. would this setup truly work for b16's? i mean take a bone stock b16a2 and add GSR crank, connecting rods and pistons and you have a 1.8L??? let me know..

i asked this question once in the hybrid forum, i was told by Jackson that the only oem stroker kit that could be done was using the parts off the b17a from the 92-93 gsr. i too saw the same video, and asked it after that. hope this helps.

I don't think it'll work cause the b16a block is shorter than the b18c. You could do it if you had the b16b cause they are the same size as the b18c.

The best way to get 1.8L's out of a B16 is to ditch the block for a GSR. Many people on here have done just that and they are very pleased with it.
