b16 swap questions
i have found a good deal on a b16, so within the next few weeks i will be buying/swapping this into my car. the car runs fine now, but heres my list of items i think would make my life easier before any problems have the chance to show up.
the motor/trans has 141,xxx miles now and will be pulled around 143,xxx so i figure this is what i'll need:
exedy stg 1 clutch kit $269.90 (ebay)
rear main seals $8.99 (autozone)
ngk iridium spark plugs $28 (autozone)
bosch wires $57 (autozone)
honda mtf $30 (honda)
hawk ceramic pads $61.49 (local shop)
(my brakes are overdue for changing anyhow)
oem replacement rotors $70 (honda)
all that brings my total to right under $600, my question is: should i go ahead and replace the starter and dizzy to prevent failure? these 2 parts raise the price by another $250.
the wp and timing belt have been replaced within the past 4k (i helped so i know it was actually done) along with driver axle, and ball joint.
