How much does a b16 swap cost?
I got my 1995 honda civic ex, had a d16 in it. how much would it cost in parts to put a b16 in it?
Don't worry about the motor, I might get one for 200-300 dollars.

If you're just looking for a bone-stock B16, with all sensors and everything included, I'd probably expect to spend $5,000 or more. Or you can do what I did; buy a 2000 Civic Si with 45k miles for $9000, wreck it 2 weeks later, and then gut it and put everything into your 4-door. I wouldn't recommend the latter. Yeah, I'm bitter.

$2484.39, exactly.
It depends on how much you pay for the motor, and how thorough you want to be. Check the popular vendors for current swap pricing. You could theoretically do it for the cost of the engine / transmission itself if you're a fan of living life on the edge. That would be an unwise decision.
For reference, I spent probably $900 on maintenance items alone on my B18C swap, which included a new:
- Exedy Stage 1 Clutch
- Exedy Flywheel
- Timing Belt
- Water Pump
- Timing belt tensioner
- Front/Rear main seals
- Axle Seals
- Valve cover gasket
- Upper / Lower radiator hoses
- Distributor Cap / Rotor
- Thermostat & Gasket
- Fuel filter
- O2 Sensor
- Spark Plugs
- Alternator / AC / Power Steering Belts
- New B Series Axles
And that's not even as thorough as it could have been. Remember that chances are you're buying an engine that you do not know the history of. Replacing those items is easy when the motor is on an engine stand; there's no better time to do it. Half-assing a swap will cost you way more in the long run.
Also, you should try the search function.

if you do it your yourself and replace the timing belt, water pump, tensioner and clutch, throttle cable your look around 3grand if you buy a complete swap from hmotors, I recommend a complete swap, all the little parts will kill your wallet, if you pay someone to do it add the labor
hope this helps
