b16 question
Can they b16a1 trans be swaped for a hydro trans?
I would like to pick one up and drop it in a 92 civic.
i have seen some b16 obd-0 obd-1, and obd-2
So if i can get a hydro trany for it thats not to much to covrt, and the motor thats obd-1 should be one of the easyer swaps?

Re: b16 question (Ape)
I heard some were that you shouldnt put an older motor then the car.
like a B16A 88-91 (SiR I) in a 92+ car. I thought it might have been for emissions purposes

I believe it varies from state to state. I know some guys around here that run first gen b16's in newer model cars, but havent had a problem (inspection stations).
