B16 in EG, what non-abs axles to use?
I've been told 94-01 integra
and also 94 Del Sol Si...
Which is a better choice/fit etc? (I was under the understanding they were the same)

all axles arent the same.
they have diffrent styles of the axle.
i believe the 99 civic si b16 has a longer axle that doesnt have a half its one long one.
you should probably go with a 94 delsol.
double check before you buy how your axle looks and then open the box at the store before you buy it.
it was a pain to get mine. i had to buy 2 and then see which one worked and return the other one.
also there will be a core return you get like 50 bucks back if you take your old one in.

Every '99-'00 si I have ever worked on has had two equal length axles and an intermediate shaft.
I've swapped integra axles into a '99 si before, and done a B series swap into a '99 hatch using integra axles(so they must be the same).

the shop that had the axle they have for the 99 si i looked at and it wasnt equal length, the one going to the tranny was one long instead of 2 short. supposedly better because it lasts longer.
they can be changed however youd be removing more than you had to if thats not what you had.

Re: B16 in EG, what non-abs axles to use? (forever slow EG6)
Okay, so I got the Del Sol axle because for some reason it was $15 cheaper. We put it in, dropped the car and when I went to back out and it just made grinding noise. I'm pretty sure the guy gave me an axle for the D series cause my core measured at like 25 mm thick, and the new axle was around 23mm.
So I'd recommend always go with Integra as your best bet, cause I'm slowly finding "94 Del Sol Si DOHC VTEC" is easily screwed up by parts people who give you single cam VTEC parts.
