B-series wiring question
I'm considering doing a swap in my EG with a D15B7 to a B-series, most likely a B16A2 or 3. Can I just replace the stock ECU and wiring harness with the B16 ECU and harness, or do I have to use the stock ECU and harness? I noticed a custom harness had to be put together in my buddy's CRX. If so, why?

Re: B-series wiring question (grandtheftlunchbox)
u can use the stock harness may have to wire up vtec and sum other things and u will have to use a obd 1 comp or get a obd1 to obd 2 harness. and his crx is prob cutom bc its obd0. i put a b16a2 in my eg plug and play but i was using a chipped p28.

you can use your stock harness, if it was a single cam without vtec, then you'll have to run vtec solinode, and the vtec pressure switch to get the vtackkk to workie. use the ecu that comes with your swap, makes it all easier.

Re: (id3379)
Okay, cool. So the connector that plugs into the D15B7 computer would plug right into the B16 computer? or would i have to repin the connector?
