Default Axle Question

What's going on everyone. I did a search earlier cause I know how everyone is about going and answering the same old same old question. I only came up with two results. None related to what I wanted to really know.

After many years of owning a 93 honda del sol. I figured I was done with it. So I started parting it out. I've been through 3 engines, and figured I had my fun swapping out the D series and B series in it. Well, come to find out, I guess I really havent parted ways with it and I guess I'm ready to dump some money into it again, but this time, going much further than just having a regular N/A power and going turbo.

I plan on getting the B18B motor and working from there. Doing the whole works with internals and the right setup for the summer before taking it down during the winter. What I don't really know is, how much can the axles handle???

I'm looking for the hp range in over 400. Which I know I probably won't get this summer, but this winter will be the real goal of obtaining it. Which leads to me asking. Will I need to swap out the axles, and if so, with what??

Thank's for your feedback and letting me know. And if anyone finds a link to the question that can easily answers it, thank you.

i wouldnt trust them pass 300...there was just a thread on someone who went through 3 axles but he was probally dumping it at 8k with slicks...imo i think its how you drive and how much you beat on and i know you aint gonna be taken it easy once you get a turbo

i had gator axles on my 91 hatch and i was pushing 330 at the wheels and no breakage at all

Honestly, I probably won't take it to the track very often. I think I will only take it once I get some more modifications and everything done at once, just so I can see on how much leap and bounds I am making. Around where I live, mostly just 40+ roll races.

Well, that is one opinion. Also going to ask other good companies out there that make some good axles. I'll be posting pictures here soon of the tear down on the honda.

Drive shaft shop also makes good axles, on their site it gives the horsepower ratings for their various stages so you can choose accordingly
