Default axle/cv joint clicks/rattles/grinds when turning. what could be wrong?

I noticed this increasingly in the past few days. As I turn right while going on the road, something would click rattle and grind, sounds like its coming from the left front wheel area. When I checked today, there's black sticky fluid at the bottom of the cv boot for the tie rod. Could someone plz tell me whats wrong and what I should do?

Broken CV boot... two things happened: all the grease that was packed inside the cv joint is now leaking out (if the boot is split all the way around there will be a ring of grease inside the fender well). This is the stuff dripping from the boot and the stuff that's plastered all over your control arms. the second thing is, the broken boot allowed contaminants (dirt, grit, dust, gravel, whatever) inside the cv joint... which, when mixed with the little bit of grease left, made a perfect grinding compound inside the joint. Basically if your CV joint is making clicking noises, it's fried and should be replaced right away. This means basically new axles, because the CV joints are somewhat integrated.

Remember everyone, check those CV boots whenever you do anything under the car! If they're cracked or broken, replace them before any damage is done to the CV joint. It'll make it easier on you down the road... no need to shell out the bucks to get new axles/joints, just a couple 20 dollar cv boot kits.

Yeap common issue whenyour lowered you cracked a outer cv joint boot allowing moisture in. No matter what I just replace the whole axle as repacks usually don't work the best and with the amount of stress the axles see due to lowering sorry I meant the cv joints see the stress best to replace them I can get them local for 85 bucks with a core return. Which in my book isn't to bad.
