autometer oil pressure guage noise
hey guys, i just hooked up my mechanical oil pressure gauge and have no leaks. is it normal for my guage to make a swirling sound? its getting annoying lol. also my oil pressure seems to be 40-50 psi going 80mph (3000 rpm) is that normal?

Yes, the noise is normal. You get used to it after a while. Its especially audible when you have a copper line instead of the teflon/plastic one that it comes with. Oil pressure sounds about right. Mine shoots up pretty quick after 3000, up to 75-85 at 4500.
