Automatic shifts really high?
Hey all. So I had to take my transmission out to fix something, now I have everything back together. Last night I took it out for a test drive, and it wont shift until really high speeds/rpm's. It wouldn't go into third until 70ish, and not to fourth until 100. After getting to 100, if you let off the gas it would hard shift into 3rd at about 90. I'm not sure whats making it do this, but I need to get it fixed soon! Anybody got any ideas?
- Fluid level is correct (top of lXXl)
- Used Honda ATF
- Transmission worked perfect before

Is the throttle valve cable (if equipped, you never told us the car so we don't know) is adjusted wrong, it will cause this problem.

Sorry, its an EG coupe d16z6. How do I know if it is adjusted right, and should I make it tighter or looser. Hell, how do I even go about adjusting it, like where on the cable?
