auto trans on a EG8 help
hey everybody thaks for stopping by, i been having a problem with my auto transmission on my d15. the problem is that when i drive theres sometimes where it wont shift and just keep reving higher and higher. i would have to stop, put it on park and turn in off and on and it would continue just fine like nothign happened. i change the torque converter and sometimes when i start the car usually early morning the transmission makes a "whinning" noice then later on it stops. can anyone help me out? any great advice is really aprreciated

When is the last time you had the transmission fluid changed?
With the transmission reving itself out before it shifts is a good sign of extemely low transmission fluid.

well when i changed the torque converter, it was because it was doing the same thing is doing right now with the new converter and and i added about new 4and 3/4ths of automatic trans oil.... thank you for your response honda-tech members

does teh two sensors that are below the distributor that is on top of teh transmisison can those be any reason why this is occuring??? the motor and trans and rteh whole car had around 80,XXX miles... everything is original and honda?????
