Auto to Manual engine harness, 93 EX is already manual
I already have a manual transmissions 93 EX coupe. So al the internal cabin work is done. I am looking to eventually swap a B16A into the car. To make things easier etc I am intending to drop the engine and transmission into the car as a unit with another harness. I have obtained one from a 95 EX with a D16Z6 but it was an automatic. Most guides I have found cover all the changes one has to make in the cabin but very little discussion on what has to change on the automatic harness itself. I realize the shifter plugs from the auto translate to the back up light sensor, but I havent been able to find a guide that tells you where to the move the pins on the connecting 2-piece harnesses back to the ecu/cabin. Again, my car is already a manual so I dont need to play games with the console shifter or any of that other necessity junk for going from an automatic to a manual.

I don't see the info in helms manual either. Has someone used an auto ex harness in an already manual car for a swap?

Mostly fear of the connectors disintigrating when I pull them off. I did an engine swap on a camry of similar vintage and all the connectors broke as I pulled them off. I want to put this other harness on my newer motor so that I can just drop it in and hook it up at the shock towers already assembled.
