auto 2 manual question

Default auto 2 manual question

i just got a 93 civic ex that was an auto and they swapped it 2 a 5spd but left the brain box 4 the auto selector.. how do i get rid of that?

You talkin about this box?
In the top of the pic?


Just unscrew it and pull the plug out, and wire the three black wires togeather. (Large black one, Small Black/Blue wire, Large Black/Red)

i was told there was a few things to wire up so that the neutral safety switch was bypassed but im not sure on what it is to wire up

some one correct me if im wrong, but on that box there are two bigger wires (black/white, black/red?????) those are for the neutral safety switch. all you do is cut off that entire box then splice those two wires together.again cant remember ther color off hand but there the two biggest wires in the bunch.
