Default Question about 3 wire -> 2 wire IAC swap

After looking at the wiring for the 3wire to 2wire iac swap info in the minime swap guide i have a few questions.

The stock iac is 3 wire, new one is 2 wire. It states to move pin A14 to a12 and then unpin A13 altogether.

Then according to the guide is says to remove the 3wire plug, hook up the yellow/black to the green/black and then the black/blue to the black.

Well on the ecu side of things A14 that is now A12 is the black/blue so i can see where that wire goes and according to my way of thinking since the black/blue hooks to the black on the 2 wire plug it must be the ground.

However where does the yellow/black wire go and what is its function?

Oh and not sure of this matter but i resused the orange wire for the knock sensor instead of running a new wire.

Default Re: Question about 3 wire -> 2 wire IAC swap (ho bag)

Well since i got no responces here i went and borrowed a friends car to compare wiring....

The info here http://www.jdmuniverse.com/for...32971 Says to ping the 3 yello/black to the 2 wire green black which is the wire closest to the clip on the plug however when comparing to a friends car the black/blue wire is closest to the clip on the plug.

So the info for wiring here contradicts what i see on a stock 97 ex

Can anyone confirm there findings on this issue?

i think all i did for mine was cut the 3 wire IAC and wired in 2 wires to the new 2 plug IAC and just left 1 wire covered up

The orange wire doesnt get used with the new iac so i reused it for my knock sensor and repinned it on the ecu.

Also pin A14 was moved to A12. A13 which was the orange wire was moved to D6.

My question is on the new IACV plug which wire goes to which wire.
