ATTN H22A owners!! please help (need some quick responses)
i took a drive in a jdm h22a hatch today and damn it was hella fast!!just a few questions tho.....
1. first the CEL is always on he states this is because of the p13 obd-II ecu,is this true??(he has p72 obd-I ecu he said it should go off when i put it in)
2. when i was making a left turn you could feel the axle vibrate pretty hard, around right turns it was fine, so i will def. need a new axle right???and if i get new axles (stronger ones) this shouldnt happen again right??
3. when putting the car into first gear you really have to struggle. you have to push it in quite hard, he says its because he replaced the slave cylinder and when they did it they left air in some lines or somethin. how do i fix this??
4. when cruising in 3rd gear i think it was the car backfired, it didnt sound like it came from the muffler sounded like it came from the cat. is this normal should i worry about it??
please help me guys i want to buy this car but is it worth it
he wants $8000 and i want to buy it soon so please help and im kinda a n00b if u havent guessed

To answer your questions.....
1. If he's got a CEL, it could be anything. Jump the harness and see what codes he's exactly getting. Doesn't matter what ECU he's using... same codes.
2. Tell him to raise his car up, then realign it. Either that or he's not using the correct axle combo and they're binding.
3. Check the shift linkage
4. Could be a number of things. Mine does sometimes when I let off the gas, but that's because I have no cat (just straight race header w/3" collector, run back with 2.5" piping to a free-flowing muffler) so it's common if I just jump right off when mashing it full throttle sometimes.
$8000? Depends on how the rest of the car looks. Buy mine for $9000 with JDM H22 w/LSD, Spoon P13 ECU, runs great, brand new paint job (S2000 silver inside & out), CF wing & hood, Type R lip, sw388 wheels w/brand new Falken Azenis tires, 99 GSR seats, zero interior, wet NOS kit (taken off since I set the car up for road racing) and 6-pt Autopower roll cage (not rollbar, but full cage)..... just getting bored of it and having more fun driving my stock DA Integra.

lol If you want you can pick me up in NY and we can go and check out the car together.. At least I would know what to look for and ****.. But I live in Brooklyn..
And get a Haynes manual for the 92-95 Civic.. You will learn more there than I can ever type in..
