Default Apex'i N1 exhaust

I am looking at purchasing an Apex'i N1 cat-back exhaust. I was wondering what everybody thinks of this exhaust, and if there would be a better choice in your opinion, and please tell me why it would be better. Also, I am paying 429.99 for it if I do buy it, so if anyone has a better price, please tell me about that too.

Thanks!!

I love my N1, had it on before I had my turbo and all I thought was it had a great deep tone to it. Now, with the turbo, it is really nice. The only other exhaust I would recommend is the Thermal R&D 3" piping as opposed to 2.5" with the N1.

This is the site I got mine from: http://www.optauto.com . Their really helpful and ther prices are really good.

thanks for the fast reply!!

I have heard one before, and I really like the sound. Did you have any problems with it (scraping on ground, etc)??

Thanks!!

I got mine from fusion-racing.com for about $420, it was about $40 shipped to Minnesota. What kind of car is it going on? I drive a 94 Civic Coupe, and it looked horrible at first because it hangs really goofy. I had a guy I know cut part of it and weld it back up so it hangs straight now and looks awesome. The sounds is really good too. Pretty deep and loud as hell if you're WOT. Cant wait to get my test pipe and hear it then. Good choice though If you want you can call me up, I live like 45 minutes from you and I'll rev it a bit so you can see what it sounds like.

My friend has one on his Si...It's loud as hell without the silencer...He said he noticed some power gains...The only downside to the exhaust he said is that it scraped when he got his car lowered...Other than that he loves the thing...I'm thinking of getting it myself

I wouldn't get the Apex'i N1, because it is not a fully stainless steel exhaust.
My suggestion would be Kakimoto Racing exhaust, they are fully stainless steel and very rare in the US.

I really dont understand why people are such @$$holes about the whole searching for topics thing, especially when he replied, which means it got bumped back to the top, so it will be in the way for a lot longer.

BTW, subtle, have you had any rust problems since that guy said it isnt full stainless, im kinda nervous, knowing how the roads have a tendency to eat through metal and all

It is going on a black 97 Coupe

I've only had it a few weeks, but just go to car washes that have undercarriage sprays once and a while, you'll be fine.

It will definately draw a lot of attention, even w/ a stock engine, but I still love it, because if you shift at lower RPM's you wont have a problem with being TOO loud if you dont want it to be.
