Anyone running on BFGoodrich Traction T/A H?
I read the tirerack reviews and they all seem pretty positive, but then again...I'm not entirely sure if i can trust the reviews of people on tirerack.
Anyone run these tires? If so, how are they for you? They're ranked #2 out of 19 for the high performance all-season tire with very good all around marks.
I searched and noticed not a single person wrote about these tires. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Also, what tire would you recommend for a 195/60/14 application?
p.s. I will be doing a lot of spirited driving and once my suspension is complete, i'll be looking at some track days. would i be better off with picking up some azenis on this stock wheel (i heard negative comments about azenis on stock wheels) vs. an extra grippy all-season or even the yoko advan a460?

i have pretty much that exact tire on my Hx's ther aren't bad in the snow or rain.. and they hook decent on the street, i like them alot.. they r nice tires,,
my buddie is running the azenis on his Hx's on his turbo ls, and they do pretty good for him , they wouldn't do nealy as well in the weather as the bfg's though, the falkens are more of a road race tire.. there alot softer

I have Toyo Proxes 4. I live in Ohio and had them through the winter and were great. Wet traction has been amazing too. Dry is awesome as well. For the price, in my opinion, they are your best bet.

i have heard mixed opinions about the toyo proxes. i have had them myslef, they were a pricey, but they were also 215/35/18. They did ok, but in the snow they sucked. Also while shopping for tires as of late, a local owner told me not to get the fz4's due to the fact that were a rather shitty tire, however he did recomend Toyo's new tire which is a substitute for the proxy fz4.
also welcome to honda tech hoffman, i recongize your ame from csr, my name sleepinciv on the local cincy boards

Re: (c1civic)
Thanks for the welcome. I reconzie you too.
IMO the FZ4 is kinda on the crappy side, I wouldn't use them (being a tire salesman). Toyo just came out with the T1R which is simply baller. If you owned the T1S, this tire superceeds it and from the looks of the tire alone, with blows the T1S away in performance. We have a few sizes in the warehouse and I drool everytime I walk past the T1R. I have 205/40 r 16 on my Civic in the Proxes 4, paid around $400 for them and couldn't be happier.

i'm actually in california and will not be worrying about snow too much. i want a nice tire that will hook me to the ground (b18c), while not sacrificing daily driving capabilities.

Re: (llxzxll)
my dunlop sport a2's should last one more year hopefully and I've been looking at those bfg's as well. Well when I got my dunlops they was rated great at the time on tirerack but after I got them and people started putting miles on them there ratings went way down. Most people said they don't last but then they're putting that tire on a big heavy car and they've done good for me, I guess partly because I have a small car and it's very light. I have about 30 couple thousand miles on my a2's maybe they'll last to 35 or 40 thousand. I was also looking at the goodyear eagle gt-hr's but I think that I'm gonna go with the bfg's.

I'm running 195/60/14 Bridgestone Potenza RE950s... bumping your thread because I'm interested in seeing if anyone else likes the traction t/a's
The RE950s are some of the best tires I've ever owned, but they're $15/tire more expensive on tirerack than the T/A's.... and they both rate pretty much the same.

I have them. They are pretty good tires. They grip pretty good going around corners.
