Anyone relocated their batteries?
I was wondering if anyone has done this? how complicated was it? Do you know how much it actually helps as far a weight distribution in 92-95 hatch's? Post pics if you have them. Thanks

Well, back when i had my CRX I relocated my battery to the rear passenger seat. On stock 92 to 95 civics the stock location is perfect so I do not find it necessary to relocate the battery.
If you wish, the best for you is to invest in a Gel cell battery, they are more expensive than conventional batteries and they are lighter and then you can make youself a custom enclosure and place it where the stock battery is on the engine bay.
If deciding to move the battery inside the car, just get a relocation kit from Scumitt Performance ($40.00) and includes everything. And Do Not Think about using the stock wet cell battery inside your car w/o the proper ventilation.

In another words, whether you are looking for weight distribution or lighter components. You can't go wrong with a gel cell battery. The Safe Alternative Way. Lol I sound like a commercial

I have a Optima Yellow Top battery and it doesn't fit in the stock location. I was gonna get it re located to the rear for space purposes. I'm still not sure because I really hate the way it sits now (Kinda just thrown in).
