anyone modify their auto ecu for 5 speed/manual?
i did this with my d series in my civic, but i am about to put in a b18 and just found an ecu locally but it is auto. can i just cut the rp17 resistor in the ecu? or is it another one? it is a 95 p75 ecu. thanks

The program in a auto ecu is different. If you buy one of the cheap "chip-it-yourself" kits on E-bay or somewhere, you will be putting a manual program in the ecu. Its not that much difference, but it is some. Plus, if you get it from a decent seller, the instructions will also show the auto to manual conversion for the ecu.
