Hey,
me and my buddy installed an underbody neon kit on his Impreza, it was pretty easy. As long as you get a good kit that comes with all the hardware, that is. Try to install the lights in a groove alongside the sideskirts, so speed bumps won't crush the tubes. The longest part of the install for us was mounting the switch on his dashboard. :-P If the kit doesn't come with good self-tapping screws, go get some from Home Depot. They make the install really easy.

i'm thinking about getting a blue underbody neon kit.. anyone know how long it takes to install it.. and how to install it? hehe.. i know it's ricey and all.. but it really looks nice.. thanx to those who reply.
rent the movie F&TF they have a tech install on a supra.

um sadely enough i have had them on one of my civic's they arn't that bad to install the thing that is a bitch though is running the wires into the engine compartment. basically if you are carefull with the placement of the lights themselfs there really isn't any issues whatsoever other than passing the wires pass the altinator and the other *** belts make sure you secure the wires very well allso another thing to think about is a civic's body dosen't hid the bubls vary well so you get kinda a weird affect aposed to a hidded light pooring from the body look( unless you have a body kit

If you're going to put them on, just make sure the bulbs aren't visible, only the glow. That's when you can run into some trouble

I guess it depends on what color it is....personally I make sure you purchase some good mounting hardware from your local Home depot or Lowe's. Then proceed to wire them up according to the instructions. Personally, I would only mount neons only on these type of cars:
