Anybody have input on new TB?
I have a B18 in my civic coupe and the butterfly on my current TB sticks open, and I'm almost positive the TPS is bad. Any way to test that so I know for sure?
Anyways, a new TB came with the car but its a lot smaller than the one on there now so I'm guessing its a D series. And it only has one sensor on it. My current one has the TPS and the MAP on it. Not sure what's up with that..
So I'm looking at just getting a new one. I know the stock B series is roughly 60 something mm, and I'm looking at getting a 70mm Omni one off Ebay.
Would I have any problems with the size difference?
And does anyone have any experience with Omni TB's? Or any other type of budget throttle body?

If it was me, id try cleaning it first. Take it out and pull anything electricle off of it and hose it down with carb cleaner, both inside and where the throttle cable attaches while working it open and closed

I already cleaned the whole thing with degreaser and oiled all the moving parts but it still sticks. It looks like the butterfly is too big or something.

Re: Anybody have input on new TB?
you can test your tps with a voltmeter. just go from closed .5v to wot which should be around 4.5-5v.
omniman is great. 99 bucks for a new tb? heck yea. do you actually need a 70mm TB though? or do you just want it? since after you get that 70 your gonna need to have it portmatched to your IM. or it'll be pretty useless.
no real problems besides the portmatch but also not likely to have any benefits.

Well from what I've seen that is the only size that the Omni TB comes in. That is the only reason I'm getting a 70mm. Otherwise I would get smaller.

pretty sure you could take the one off tour current TB... not sure but if you thought that the sticking was the sensor then maybe getting a new one would be a better idea?
