go buy the kit at the auto parts store.. It will cost about 20-30 bucks.. The guys behind the counter should be able to walk you through it

Maybe where you live but in most states it is not illegal if you are using 134a. If you were trying to use R-12 you should not even be able to purchase it unless you have an EPA license

There was an earlier thread about this just a few posts up, I would take it to a shop. They need to make sure that they evacuate the system, create a vacuum, then re-charge it.

If you're system is working, but you just need to add some (pressure in the system is low) you don't need to go through all that.

It's not illegal to use the fill kits you buy in the store. It's illegal to dispose of the freon yourself (discharging the system) or venting the freon into the atmosphere.

Even if your system is working and runnig low you will still have to evacuate the system and have a new dryer unit installed if it is R-12. Have your system upgraded to R134a by someone that knows what they are doing. Take it from me I'm auto a/c ASE certiffed.

Just another peice of advice. Go ahead and take it in to be refilled. You're going to end up there unless you have the necessary refrigerant guages.

I've not met a single person who's been happy with those recharge kits.

Oops, didn't realise it was a 94; so it's probably running R-12. I did do a recharge on my 00 EX, it was about 5lbs low, and it worked pretty well.
