Any one here ever ran without an oxygen sensor??
I just recently installed a header on my car and when i was trying to remove the oxygen sensor from my stock header it broke in half. I went ahead and put the header on and was wondering what will happen if a car is drove without its oxygen sensor in???

Yeah, I did the same thing, broke the o2 sensor trying to get it off the manifold while installing my header. Yup, runs rich and you'll get a CEL, but it's really not gonna hurt anything to go a short while without it just until you can get a new one

when i drove my friend's d16y7 civic it felt like it lost at least 50% power, and took forever to get to redline. kiss your gas mileage goodbye.

yeah i didnt have one on my d16y7 either it didnt feel less pokey. but the gas sure dissapeared a lil quicker.
