i was in the general and discussion web site and some guys asked when can a cop pop the hood and search. well i got couple answers here.

i was talking to my brother who happens to be a cop and i asked him questions about cop searching your hood.
well, he pretty much said these things:

1. need a probable cause (drugs,drunk,bombs,weapons)
2. need a search warrant (if they do want to search it ask for the FIELD Supervisor)
3. they can not said thats illegal or legal because they are NOT ASE Certifed mechaincs
4. if they tow your car, you have to sign a piece of paper that is about 81/2 x11 and why they are towing it.
5. **** like tinted windows,no plates,and etc. are only fix it tickets
6. if they give you ****, say you won't to speak to the cheif of the police department and best thing to say is I AM GOING TO CALL MY LAWYER!.(You should have a lawyer card in your wallet at all time, if you don't have one, GET ONE!

And when **** happens and you get arrested or whatever, DO NOT TALK, LET THE LAWYER DO ALL THE WORK!. Cops will **** you over and mess everything up.

Learn it from me, don't say a word and say that you want your lawyer
