amber it up!!
i have a 94 civic dx and i want the gauge cluster and the heater controls to be amber colored. i know how to do the clock, but i want the gauges and the heat controls to match up. i heard a variety of different things to do, but i want to know the real way and what bulbs i have to buy to accomplish the task here. any info if possible would be appreciated, thanks in advance

ok i found out its the 6 24 sized bulbs in the cluster, but do i have to remove old stuff off the gauges, like the color? some people say just get the bulbs and put em in, other say there is a lot of work, so which is it?

its just the bulbs...you dont need to buy new bulbs,
it might sound cheap but it really works >>>there is a transparent paint that you can paint the bulbs with after you take off the the condom things on the bulbs that make them blue
oh u can probably get the paint at a hobby store or harwear store

i did read them and everybody says something different. 194 this 24 that, so i didnt know and i wanted the real truth. i did find out though that my dx cluster has 3 24 bulbs and 4 74 bulbs, of course after i only bought 4 24 bulbs, so i guess another trip to the parts store is in need tom, while the interior is ripped to pieces tryin to make everything amber, good deal!!

Hey, i saw in that other thread that you almost finished your cluster. What size were all the bulbs you need? You didn't like that on your post (or maybe I just didn't see it...)

you will need five 24 bulbs and one 74..i cant find any 74 bulbs in amber..so i just left it out..the other five 24 bulbs will light basically every bit of the cluster up...the pic you saw was with four 24 bulbs
