Aluminum vs CF hood, fenders, trunk...
Being around EVOs all day, i've noticed that the factory aluminum hood and fenders the EVO comes with are really very light weight. Most aftermarket CF hoods for the EVO are nearly the same weight as the stock aluminum hood. The EVO fenders are also amazingly light.
I would personally prefer aluminum to CF, are aluminum hoods and fenders available for our cars? specifically 92-95 coupe

Good question but keep in mind that the EVO hoods have soe significant chunks out of them. Thats a big weight reducing factor itself.

True, but i'm sure that an aluminum replacement would be quite a bit lighter.
The point is i want to replace a slightly damaged OEM one with something better but not CF
I searched a bit online and couldn't find much
