Default Alternator problems for a obd I b16a

Hey guys my battery has not been charging on my b16a so i went and got the alternator tested- it was the diodes so i was going to just get one from a 95 Del sol- at the parts store they stated that they have two different ones- a 70 and a 80 amp model. I went with the 80 amp model is this correct? Would the belt be the same as well?
