Default Alright HT's here's a question for you

So after searching around on the forums and Google for a good answer I came up with this...absolutely nothing. You may be wondering what I have been trying to find out now haven't you? Well here is my question to all of you.

What are the differences between USDM Civic Si's and CDM Civic Si's (SiR)?

Yup, CDM, Canadian Domestic Market. Yeah sure, you have the normal things like the gauge cluster is in kilometers per hour instead of miles per hour and the red seats, but what about the smaller things. No not stickers, but small things like seat belts and stuff like that.

Now you may be wondering why I'm asking a question such as this, but basically I just wanna know because we're going to Canada soon for some stuff for my friends Nissan 240sx and basically we just wanna grab some CDM Honda stuff that not a lot of people have around here where we live and just for a bad *** factor in our cars. So if anyone has any knowledge they would like to share that'd be amazing and greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot,

Steve

Day time running headlights?

I think some models had 'low washer fluid' warning lights in the dash.

Yea that's what I was thinking. Only really things I could think of other than the cluster and the seats really...hmmm, I was hoping there would be something that's really cool and stand out from the USDM and/or JDM stuff.

However, if you find yourself a 1.6 EL you might find a lot of goodies on that. Research it. It's apparently an acura-civic. Leather heated seats...etc. All should bolt on to a civic, same chassis apparently.

Do your homework.

Two main factors, daytime running lights and heated mirrors. Buddy here in Iowa has one, spent a long time trying to figure out the difference. If you could get the cdm cluster for the Sir I have somebody that would be interested.

Already planned on the SiR badges And yes, I've already looked into the 1.6 EL also. I already considered grabbing the trunk and tail lights for my 4 door as well as the climate control.

Haha bro, if I find a CDM SiR cluster I'm going to keep it. There was one on here for like $350, he's in NY I believe.

Hmmm, looking for something a little bit smaller...like SiR badges are going to be badass...hm anyone know if the seat belt colors are difference? Or something else smaller preferably? Man, Nissan has smaller things in the 240 like different seat belts haha.

Seat belts are the same. Not too many "small" things.
