Ok fellas, I need your opinion. My car is a 92 VX hatch DD. When I bought the car, the air intake duct wasn't there, but everything else was. So that pipe where the arrow is looks like the only thing drawing in air.



So my question is, get the air intake duct from dealer/boneyard, a short ram, or just leave it as is? Which is going to benefit more performance-wise? I don't care about sound or looks...just better reponse.

your fine w/o it. but if perfection is your thing, you can pick one up from the dealer or junk yard. since your really seeking performance, you can always go with a intake set up. that's most likely going to give you the response you might be looking for.

If u want to save some money u could just get the duct and remove the air box insted of buying a shot ram (i did that in my car and it got a bit louder and also gave me a better reponse time)
