How do you hook up a air fuel gauge to a one wire o2 sensor?

some say the O2 wire off the header bung, others say At the ECU, I need to fix mine cause it just lights up bout 10 blocks and rocks back and forth... I let cousin install it!

Pretty much any A/F meter setup on a stock o2 sensor is a light show. If you want a real A/F setup you need a wideband, stock o2 sensors are just too flaky.

Splice your A/F signal wire (mine is purple on my Autometer) into the wire of your O2 sensor.

did that it, and it did not work. This is my friends car, and i just did it like i did mine, but he only has one wire. And would he have the fat white wire on his ecu? I think he has a P06 ecu.

ok what car are you doing it on with what motor?
So, if its a P06 I'm assuming its OBD1...correct?

Splice the O2 sensing wire from the gauge into D14 which is a white wire on the ECU plug.

the air fuel ratio is a horrible gauge dont even waste your time...its a light show

Thanks for the help. And i dont think the gauge is just a light show, its called engine monitering. Then you get a Vafc/Safc and tune your fuel map.
