air conditioning weight questions??
i have been searching to see if anyone knows how much the a/c weighs in a 92-95 civic? i am wondering because i am putting it back in my car and want to know if its worth the weight reduction and drive around in the heat?

35-40lbs. tops including compressor, condensor, evap core, lines, etc.
IMO for a daily driver A/c is pretty important.
My 1992 Cx never had it, so I never added it.
I don't think i'd strip it out of a car these days if it worked already.
I'm currently trying to add A/C to my 1990 beater.

i took it out because i was in an accident and paid for both cars out of pocket last year. thanx alot for the info and i hope it doesnt hurt me too bad this fri and the track.
