Air Conditioning Pulley Belt?
Hey everyone, the A/C on my car doesn't have a pulley belt on it, I just bought the belt for it, and I'm unsure how to put it on.
Does anyone have instructions or a diagram?
Car Information
Chassis: 1992 Honda Civic VX (hatchback)
Engine: B16A2 (JDM)
ECU: P30-000 (Canadian?)

i have a b18b in my ej1 now. i think u have to remove the power steering belt before u get a/c. on the b18b, for the a/c there's a 12mm?? adjusting screw, i think thats all u need to use to swing the pulley up or down, then once u get the belt on tighten the adjusting screw. its real easy, u can look at it and see what all u need to do.

Re: (Xscort)
Sounds good about right.
I don't have power steering on my car, or do I?
There is no where to put any power steering fluid, but there seems to be an extra pulley.
Do some cars not use fluid and are just powered by the pulley and belt?

Re: (agiorlando)
i pretty sure VX's dont have power steering, but there is a little pulley, i believe above your A/C compressor on the motor itself, loosen that put the belt over the A/C conpressor, over that tensioner pulley, and over the crank shaft pulley. then get something like a pry bar to put pressure onto the pulley. Make sure the belt is fairly tight, then tighten the pulley down.
