Aftermarket steering wheel = SRS light for life?
I have a '95 hatch, so I have airbags on both sides. I just put on an aftermarket steering wheel, thus losing my airbag on the driver's side, and now the SRS light is on. I have 2 questions;
1) Is there a way to get rid of the light other than disconnecting it? Maybe a jumper wire at the driver's airbag connector or something?
2) If possible, I'd like to retain the passenger side airbag's functionality. Is there a way to do this with an aftermarket wheel?
Any help would be great. Thanks.

Re: Aftermarket steering wheel = SRS light for life? (i hate import cars)
There is a thread around here about using a resistor (or is it resister?) to make the SRS think you still have the airbag..

Awesome. That's what I was hoping for. Now can someone point me to this thread? Because I've searched "SRS", "resistor", "SRS resistor", etc, and I can't find this thread you speak of...
