I got a b&m used and it's fine.. it sits too far forward though so I'd say no matter what company you get make sure it's bent like the stock one...

The brand shouldn't matter... you shouldn't put enough force into the shifter to break it if it were made of wood... otherwise you're risking damaging tranny internals... forget a 12 dollar short shifter.

if i were you, i would've gone the other way around with the $$ spending.... get a good shifter and just get a generic type r shift ****. my titanium type r style **** looks just like the real deal and the red letterings haven't even worn out yet like some say. IMO. get what you and your patience can afford though.

umm is $12 all you can afford right now or how much are you willing to spend on ebay for one? You can also always put your stock shift **** back on also until you get a good shifter.
