Adjusted idle now little problem comes up
I adjusted the idle yesterday on my 00 Si, now it's making this sort of pumping noise, but when I unplug the IACV the noise goes away, or if I lower the idle it goes away just a little bit. Seems like it's not affecting anything though. Anybody experience this type of noise, and know how to fix it?

How did you adjust your idle? When you unplug your IACV you are getting the base idle which is why the noise goes away. Did you adjust the idle from base idle?

I foolded around with that screw before trying to raise my extremely low idle and my idle got all eratic and **** and it took me a few days just to get it adjusted back to normal again. I'd be careful with that.

ok, whatever that noise is just got more constant. I cleaned out the TB and the IACV thinking maybe it was just to dirty, it ended up raising the idle up so I had to adjust that to what I wanted it to be at, but now the noise can pretty much be heard throughout the powerband, even while driving around. Anybody have a clue whats causing this noise?
