backfire... normal?
when it idling i can hear it make pop pop sound consistantly. is this normal? and whenever im at high rpms and shifting to the next gear it makes a loud backfire noise, is that pretty normal? and yes the car is tuned

i think you may want to check out the popping noise at idle
its pretty normal for it to do it when you are shifting like that, but not at idle

well, the small puffs might be nothing to worry about.
can you hear them while you are sitting in the car, or from only outside the car?

i don't know if that's what you consider "normal".. that means there's fuel combusting in or near the turbine?

Sounds like it's just lightly misfiring at idle. Big injectors do wacky things. Might want to check the tuning at idle if it bothers you. Richening up idle a little from 14.7:1 can smooth things out sometimes with big injectors.. like 14:1 or so. (assuming not using closed loop o2).
