quick question guys. For a 2000 civic, is there such a thing as an adjustable shifter which lets you position the shifter wherever you want. im not talking about the actual shifting mechanism aka short shifter. What i want to do is be able to change the position of my **** close to the drivers side, but dual bend shifters do not really allow for adjustability. Something i can raise or lower, bend or rotate at my convinience. i know it sounds crazy but there has to be something like this out there


Also, can i just change the shifter without tapping into the gear box or do i need to mess with the whole linkage assembly regardless if it s just the top shifter part i want to change... thanks

I know B&M makes adjustable shifter for drifting... Im not sure it its available for our model cars though. If you were to thread a piecd of pipe to fit the top of your shifter though you could make one yourself... Ive seen it done. Search around.

Just curious why do you want an adjustable shifter?

I just want to position it the best way possible. I feel that the **** is too far to the right for my way of driving. Im sure that maybe single of dual bend shifter may help but i was hoping that an adjustable existed so i wouldnt have to worry about not being satisfied about placement.

And lastly, will i have to do the entire process of switching out the linkage or is it just a bolt on? thanks

The shift lever bolts into the linkage. Its about a 45-1 hour job if your good with mechanics
