Adding power windows and locks?
Hi, I recently purchased a '96 Hatch with a nice B20 in it and a GSR tranny. That's not my point, but I do enjoy sharing that information.
I have had a back injury from work and it makes it difficult for me to roll a window up and down with my left arm. I would like to convert my windows to auto.
Has anyone done this? Can I just call up the junkyard and ask for the parts or do I need more? Does the door need modifications other than the door skins?

You can either buy panels, switches, realys and floor harness from a Si or any other that came with power, or you can buy an aftermarket kit like SPAL (for the windows at least). Thats what I did on my Dx and it works great. I love mine and the kit cost me all of $100 and 2 or three hours to install.

Here's a decent post on installing power locks; I was gonna do that on my Sol, but it sounds like a bit of a pain. It'd be sweet to take off that stuff from a car in a junk yard and go to town, that would be a good project.
