Acura proportioning valve in my ex?
I've heard both ways so I'm coming to you does anyone know if I can use an integra proportioning valve for my disc brake swap or will only an si valve work for my application. Also while I'm at it are there rotor caliper options I can upgrade to? Thanks in advance
Pulled the trailing arm, rotor, caliper, and proportioning valve from a 96 integra the parking brake cable was beat so I just cut it.
Sorry 2000 ex coupe 5spd

I've been reading this post but it's information overload. I'm just not sure about the proportioning valve and actually not sure if I can use my stock brake lines or do I have to use si brake lines or can I use integra brake lines. Sorry about the model over site.

There we go, thanks for including information.
Check out this post, where I clearly highlight the part numbers for every relevant proportioning valve. Long story short, 46210-S04-902 is the part number you want, and you can find it in any 96-00 Civic coupe or hatchback except the EX and 99-00 HX. You will need to replace your rear brake lines (just the soft lines) with either 99-00 SI lines, or any rear-disc equipped 94-01 Integra - the fitting on the caliper is different, and drum lines just won't fit. You'll also need 99-00 SI parking brake cables - they're cheap through Rock Auto, and I wouldn't buy used parking brake cables. They stretch over time, new ones are cheap, and there's just no reason to risk it.
FWIW, I have the 46210-S04-912 proportioning valve on my sedan, and didn't change it when I did my rear disc swap. I don't have any problems with it, so there's another option for you.

Great I have access to 97 dx coupe parts car I'll grab that proportioning valve tomorrow hopefully. Then I guess parking brake cables will be next week or so which is good it'll give me time to get the bushings from hardrace.
