Accidents suck.
Last weekend was the best and the worst weekend in a while. On Saturday, I finally got enough money to buy rims, so I did, Excel Mimis' in Gunmetal w/ polished lip, mounted with Kuhmo 711 Casta tires for 760, brand new. 2 days later on Monday, I was turning onto the freeway and I didnt yeild and some lady clipped my back end, causing me to spin out, after regaining control of my car, I stopped, got out and looked at the damage.
My back passenger wheel was fucked up, the control arm was bent, and that was it, the wheel was at an angle it wasnt suppose to be, so I couldnt drive it. My question is, how many of you have gotton in an accident and how much has your insurance gone up? I drive a EJ1 Coupe (94 EX). Before the accident I paid close to 4000 a year for full coverage. I'm 17 years old, the good thing was I didnt have the rims on my car when I get in the wreck.

the accident was your fault?
if you have the money to fix it, do not claim. the lady who hit you will, and your premium will more than likely go up. but not as much if you claimed also.

well first off, keep in mind that my dad works for my insurance company...
when i got in my wreck i was the only one involved, and my insurance went up about 30 bucks a month. I was driving a 98 civic ex and i was also 17, so idk. Id asume yours will go up a bit more than me becuase of my dad and all that jazz. Goodluck though...

mine went up 50 a month for a small claim, i knicked his rim with my bumper, and it ripped a hole in the bumper.
"luckily" i got into an accident after that, and it was not my fault. so i got the money to fix the bumper( and headlight, grill, hood, fender too ) from the guy who pulled out in front of me

Yes, the accident was my fault. The lady already claimed it on insurance. My insurance was already so much, I really cant afford anymore, then I wont be able to do anything with my car anymore

Wow, thats a lot of money. I'm thinking of only going liability (the bare minimum in my state), I here my insurance will go down, in about 3-4 years

Yeah doode, thats what I had 1000 deductible, it brought my 6 months rates down by like 200, I never thought I'd get in an accident, and that it would be my fault... **** insurance. IMO car insurance is pointless.
