Default Acceleration problems? Need help

When I would go to switch gears in my 93 civic ex, the rpms would sometimes skyrocket with no acceleration. Finally yesterday I bought a tranny and clutch/flywheel off a guy from craigslist with 53k on em and put it into the honda. Drove pretty normal at first but today it started to do the same thing, in second third and sometimes fourth gear. Any ideas, thanks in advance.

Your clutch is slipping again. That's why you never buy a used clutch. Buy a new unit and install it.

Makes sense man. Should I go whole kit. Also my clutch pedal height wouldn't have anything to do with that right. Dumb question it's just my clutch engages extremely high. Thanks for input.

Yes, you should get an entire kit. You should also remove your flywheel and have it resurfaced. During install, you should also be adjusting your pedal height properly. Once you've reinstalled it all, you should also give the new clutch proper break-in, and not dog on it until it's fully broken in.

These are all things you have to do to properly replace a clutch, and I have a strong feeling you didn't do any of the above.
