I've never heard of a header getting in the way of the AC components... I'm pretty sure you are okay. Its mostly turbo manifolds you have to worry about.

jdm type R uses AC too...so i dont see why you cant use it...
not sure about megan...they should be good...
usually turbo manifolds are the one that gives AC problems...
