ABS problem
I have a 92 ex sedan and my ABS light will not go off.... when i come to a stop or when i start off in 1st i can feel my brakes sticking. its pretty noticeable too. the light has been on since i bought the car....last march. it didnt really do it at all then.... but when i replaced the front and back brakes i started noticing it.... can anyone help me out. Im not sure why they are sticking and i really dont even want ABS anyway, but i dont know how to disconnect it either. thanks guys.

Re: ABS problem (steffexchik)
I'm not too sure how to fix your problem, but you can disable ABS by pulling the fuse.
Pick up a Haynes manual and reassemble your brakes. Perhaps there's an special step to ABS than normal brakes.

Re: ABS problem (clm)
Just do the same thing as if your doing a CEL code. put a paper clip into the jumper and read the ABS light get the code and post back

Re: ABS problem (steffexchik)
I search for about 30 seconds and came up with this
This is from my 95 Helms, they should be the same system.
1 0 ABS pump motor over-run
1 2 Pump motor
1 3 High pressure leakage
1 4 Pressure switch
1 8 High pressure system
2 1 Parking brake
3 1 RF pulser
3 2 LF pulser
3 4 RR pulser
3 8 LR pulser
3 12 Different diameter tire
4 1 RF wheel sensor
4 2 LF wheel sensor
4 4 RR wheel sensor
4 8 LR wheel sensor
5 0 Right & left rear wheel lock
5 4 Right rear wheel lock
5 8 left rear wheel lock
6 0 Front and rear fail-safe relay
6 1 Front fail-safe relay
6 4 Rear fail-safe relay
7 1 right front solenoid
7 2 left front solenoid
7 4 rear solenoid
8 1 ABS function
8 2 CPU comparison
8 4 Integrated Circuit
Must be one of the wheel sensors, im guessing its the rear right since it was flashing 4 over and over, take off the caliper and make sure everthign is fitting the way it should.
